Sahara Viajes

Information

Privacy policy

Short version: we keep what you send us in order to plan your trip, and nothing else. We have never sold data and we are not about to start.

1. Who we are

Sahara Viajes is run by Elhoussain and Soufiane, two brothers based in Rissani, Morocco. We organise private tours ourselves — there is no call centre and no third-party agency handling your enquiry. If you write to us, one of us reads it.

Questions about anything on this page go to [email protected] or WhatsApp +212 604 551 511.

2. What we collect

  • Quote and contact form: your name, email, WhatsApp number, country, approximate travel dates, number of travellers and whatever you write in the message, along with the page you sent it from.
  • Technical data: your IP address and basic browsing data. This is needed to keep the form working — the anti-spam check and the per-IP send limit both depend on it.
  • Analytics: aggregated usage data through Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, approximate country, device type. None of it identifies you personally.
  • Advertising measurement: if you arrive from one of our Google ads, we record that the ad ended in a quote request or a WhatsApp message. We learn that an ad worked. We do not learn who you are.

3. What we use it for

To answer you, price your trip and organise it; to understand in aggregate which pages are useful; and to know which of our ads actually bring travellers here, so we can stop paying for the ones that do not. We do not sell or pass your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to run your trip and meet our legal obligations, then we delete them. If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we do.

5. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion or portability, and you can object to us processing it, at any time — write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days at the latest.

6. Cookies and third-party services

This site is static. These are the third-party services involved:

  • Google Tag Manager — the container that loads every measurement tag we use, including Google Analytics and Google Ads. On its own it sets no cookies and collects nothing.
  • Google Analytics — usage analytics, loaded through that container. Sets first-party cookies to count visits in aggregate.
  • Google Ads — measurement of our own advertising, also loaded through that container. Sets advertising cookies so that a visit arriving from an ad can be matched to the enquiry you send afterwards.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and the Turnstile anti-spam check on the form. Turnstile does not use tracking cookies and does not profile visitors.
  • WhatsApp (Meta)— only if you choose to message us there, in which case Meta’s own privacy policy applies.

Analytics and Ads follow the same consent rule. If you browse from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, neither runs until you accept in the cookie notice. From the rest of the world both are on by default and you can switch them off in that same notice. Either way you can change your mind whenever you like through the «Cookies» link in the footer.
