Merzouga Desert

Erg Chebbi is the reason most people come south — a 28 km wall of sand rising to 150 metres, and the last stop on every route we run.

Marrakech

The red city, the busiest airport in the south, and the point where most of our routes either start or finish.

Fez

Nine thousand streets, no cars, and the oldest working university in the world. Fez is the northern gate to the desert road.

Casablanca

Morocco's biggest airport and its working port. If your long-haul flight lands here, the route runs cleanly from north to south.

Ouarzazate

The gateway to the south, the Atlas film studios, and the fortified ksar that has stood in for half the ancient world on screen.

Todra Gorge

Walls of 300 metres closing to ten metres apart, with a river and a road threading between them.

Chefchaouen

A blue-washed medina in the Rif mountains, and the one place on the route that asks nothing of you but a walk.

Essaouira

A walled port on the Atlantic where the wind never really stops, and the medina is laid out on a grid you cannot get lost in.
